Your First Visit
We love seeing new patients and your initial visit is our first listening time – a time for us to get acquainted and to find out what you want to accomplish. We understand that many people have different needs and expectations about orthodontic treatment. That is the reason we set aside ample time for you at this visit so that we can address all your concerns about treatment.

At your complimentary first visit, you will get a complete examination of your face, teeth and jaws. At this time, we will determine whether or not this is the best time to initiate treatment, or if further growth and development are needed. We will also review the financial aspect of your care. Although fees vary depending on treatment complexity and length, we offer several affordable payment options, including the coordination of insurance benefits.

Getting Started
If it is determined at your initial visit that you are ready to start your orthodontic treatment, the next step is to gather your orthodontic records. This usually consists of impressions and radiographs. These records will help in the thorough diagnosis of your orthodontic problem and will form the basis for your treatment plan.

Shaping Futures
We follow the American Association of Orthodontists recommendation that every child have an orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7, or earlier if a problem is detected. Although treatment may not be recommended at this young age, an early examination allows us to monitor your child’s growth and development to determine the best time to begin treatment. If it is determined that your child will significantly benefit from early treatment, our office provides a very successful “Early Treatment Program” designed to enhance the growth and development of a growing child.

Adult Orthodontics
